Designed as an open-air performance and events venue, it blends modern architecture with the natural beauty of the lakefront, creating a unique space where art meets nature. With its sweeping, tiered seating and panoramic water views, the amphitheatre can host grand music extravaganzas to the poetic tunes of the waves and water, cultural festivals, theatrical performances, and community celebrations. Its scope includes state-of-the-art sound and lighting, landscaped public areas, and accessibility features to ensure inclusivity. The Homa Bay County Headquarters is a landmark administrative complex designed to centralize county government operations and improve service delivery to the people of Homa Bay. The headquarters provides modern office spaces for the Governor, County Executive Committee Members, and key departments, ensuring efficient coordination of county activities.

This state-of-the-art facility includes governors chambers, public service counters, meeting rooms, and amenities to support transparency, accessibility, and professionalism in government operations. By consolidating all major administrative offices within a single, purpose-built location, the county aims to enhance public access to government services, promote effective governance, and reduce operational costs previously incurred from renting office spaces.

Once complete, the headquarters will serve as the nerve center for county decision-making and citizen engagement, symbolizing Homa Bay’s commitment to progress and accountable leadership.

Once complete, the office will serve as a one-stop center for all devolved county functions, enabling residents to access services locally without having to travel to the county headquarters. The facility includes dedicated spaces for the Ward Administrator and area MCAs to effectively serve their constituents. By housing government operations within the ward, the project is set to save the county millions in rental costs, while significantly improving service delivery, transparency, and citizen engagement at the grassroots level.

he Kwabwai Ward Office is a key devolution initiative aimed at delivering county services directly to the people of Kwabwai.
